Participation
This competition is open to:
Citizens, permanent residents, and foreign nationals residing in Brunei Darussalam who hold a valid Brunei Darussalam identity card (yellow, red, or green); and
Citizens of ASEAN Member States (by invitation only)
Qualifying Round
A qualifying round will be held ONLINE on Sunday, 31 August 2025. All participants will need access to computers and are responsible for their own internet connection during the specified time. At the end of the Qualifying Round, 10 teams with the most points will qualify for the Final round.
This event will utilize 2 platforms:
Final Round
The final round of Cyber Battle: Capture The Flag 2025 will be held on Monday, 15 September 2025. Teams that have qualified must be present at the competition venue to participate in the final round. Each participant is required to bring their identification card (IC) for verification purpose.
Participants are required to bring their own computer/laptop, network adapters & software for their own use during the competition. Wired connections to access the Capture The Flag (CTF) network will be provided to all participants. A maximum of 3 laptops for each team can be connected to the CTF network. You may bring additional laptops but they will not be allowed to connect to the CTF network.
Prohibitions
Participants are prohibited from the following actions during the competition.
Attacking any servers, computers or network devices other than the target system.
Denial of Service / Distributed Denial of Service attacks.
Sharing information about the challenges to anyone other than your registered team members.
Getting help or support from anyone besides your registered team members.
Deleting flags from game servers.
Performing destructive attacks against the game servers i.e. rm –rf /
Performing any illegal actions against internet resources.
Smoking, vaping & e-cigarettes are not allowed at the competition venue.
Any participant found to break the rules of the competition will be disqualified at the discretion of the organizers.
